Wolf’s Rain Anime Review. A quick background story is that according to old legend, when the world is coming to an end the doors to “paradise” will open and wolves will be the only ones able to find it. After months of being told to watch the anime wolf’s rain by my friends i figured i’d finally review it and i have to say from what i’ve seen the series could go anywhere.

Although i enjoyed and admired much of it, i also, at times, found it to be confusing and felt frustrated at its meandering plot. And that is the basis of my review:

Around halfway through the first episode of wolf’s rain, “city of howls”, a scientist named cher sums up everything you need to know to understand what this story is all. As the world accelerates toward its own destruction, kiba and cheza—with the help of tsume, hige, toboe, and blue—race to reach true paradise before the entire world is rendered uninhabitable.

Forget i just said that.However, it seems this is false as wolves have not disappeared but rather have taken human form.However, use caution when allowing children to watch this.I first started watching wolf’s rain in 2003 shortly after its initial airing.

I’m not a big fan of anime, but i loved this show.If you can live off the visuals and music alone though, bump this rating up to four stars.In a distant future, in a world stuck in an eternal winter, wolves are disguising themselves as humans to survive.In other words, if the violence isn’t an issue for kids, then this show can be easily handled by them.

In some distant future, it’s common knowledge that all wolves have been extinct for 200 years.It gets very bloody, and very sad.It is a series that will touch the deepest part of you thanks to the natural connection that human beings have forgotten and that unites us with other.It’s a sizable trek and we’re by their side the entire time, from the moment they find each other to the moment they find, and then lose, cheza and beyond.

It’s easy to get lost in the melancholy of wolf’s rain.I’ve seen plenty of apocalyptic anime series;Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a city, trying to sniff out the lunar flowers that are supposed to lead whoever follows the.Long run, wolf’s rain turned out to be an unforgettable journey.

Make sure to skip the 4 recap episodes, and watch the ova to get the full story.Maybe for not having too many battles, suspense, nudes or surprises.Now reunited, cher and hubb decide to accompany the wolves in hopes of seeing the journey.Optimism in tow, wolf’s rain is a decent title that could be bound for moderate anime greatness.

The animation, the characters, the story, and the music (the great music made by yokko kanno, who also made the score for very good animated shows as cowboy bebop and escaflowne) all was perfect.The parallels between human and animal nature work impressively in presenting a number of social and philosophical comments, with the concept of the alpha male, bonding, the rich and the poor, dignity and the lack of it, despair and hope, friendship and betrayal being just some of the few that are examined.The story line is beautiful, harrowing, and adventuresome, and takes viewers on a journey to find what everyone searches for:They are searching for paradise, which to them is a very literal place that all wolves were born to search for.

This moon howler captivates that classic sad anime feeling of anime’s like lord of the fireflies yet completes the empathy in a pleasing, religious, god.To link this wonderful anime to real, established philosphical thought.Truths are revealed about characters that may change opinions drastically.Unlike many anime where the lines between who is good and who is evil are clearly drawn, wolf’s rain allows for a bit of grey area (especially where the wolves are concerned).
